Makarska is 9km away from Podgora and it can be reached by bus or by the boat in the evening.

Podgora can be reached by bus from Split airport or from Dubrovnik. Also Podgora is connected to the islands by catamaran Krilo that goes from Makarska and stops on islands Brač, Hvar, Korčula and Mljet, continuing to Dubrovnik as a last stop.
